Final Year Project

Project Title

Graphic Novel: Time Out of Jjoint (Illustrated book)

Description

The underlying philosophy of my project has to do with alternate conceptions of time, mainly those in Eastern/South Asian traditions. I’ll be working with depicting alternate concepts of time and how they affect the way we experience loss, grief, memory and our conception of the self through the mediums of fiction and poetry. I’m looking at the intersection of fiction and philosophy, and for that purpose, I’m developing a horror graphic novel that deals with the philosophies of time and temporality I have investigated over the course of my research. The final outcome will be an illustrated book.
